Job Title: Summer Programming

The Abbotsford Arts Council is hiring students for the summer to assist in the planning and implementation of our upcoming community programs.

We are a nonprofit organization with emphasis on the Arts, Culture and Community Awareness.

We also run the Kariton Art Gallery in Mill Lake Park.

This is 8 weeks of employment (30 hours per week) as funded by Canada Summer Jobs and does require that the applicant:

  • be between the ages of 15 and 30
  • was registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year
  • intends to return to school on a full-time basis during the next academic year
  • is a student in a secondary, post-secondary, CEGEP (Quebec only), vocational or technical program
  • is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or a person on whom refugee protection has been conferrred
  • is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations

We also require that the successful applicant be an organized, efficient and a goal oriented team player.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: $12.65 /hour
